Building Permits
Building Permit
In
keeping up with the progress of downtown, many of our local
residents and business owners have completed projects of their own
to improve their quality of living and, in some cases, improve the
value of their property. Do you ever wonder what the banging,
hammering and sawing is all about during the normal construction
season? Below is a list of projects in our city that required
permits from our Building Safety Division. This list will give you
an idea of what your neighbors are doing to improve their
properties. If you are planning a project for spring or
summer and are not sure if your project requires a permit, call the
Building Safety Division at 683-2374 and ask Administrative Assistant Diane Powers.
She will
be able to help you determine whether or not a permit is needed and
give you some pointers on how to choose the best contractor (if
needed) for your project.
